I hear the shy blades of vegetation shuffle, awaken
Bees rousing from their deep slumber
The wind sings a joyful tune, carrying seeds
Capsules of life across the lands.
Not far from here,
A spring appears, the one icy waters tumble
clumsily along the rocks.
Smoothing,
dressing them for the spring ahead.
Tulips, Primrose and Hyacinth
Breathe life into the once icy greens
I plunge my stethoscope into the once frozen lake
Its thawing heart softly pulsates
A colourful kaleidoscope falling graciously among the grey
The Spring’s song has begun
Listen close to hear it’s strum.
